Legacy Of The Dead

It seems that my previous weapon concept submission has received much attention as far as for a newbie. Well, since people like my weapon concepts here is another one that I finally got out of my head. I wanted to draw it for quite some time now; it is a weapon that I created for one of my RPG characters. It has a dark history and purpose, hope you like it . History:
The Legacy has caused much pain and suffering in the hands of greedy and foolish mortals. The true origin of the Legacy has been lost to the pages of history, but any who are aware of its existence agree that a great force of evil must have created something so foul. This blade is a living entity with its own sentience, its only purpose is to corrupt and destroy life. It chooses its wielder as its old master falls in battle or if its appetite for destruction is not sated. It is a cursed object, a parasite that feeds off the life force of the one that carries it. However, it also steals the life force of those who are slain by it, providing its master with health and power. It does so by attaching itself to the arm of its master with the claws that extend from its hilt. Many have tried in vain to destroy this evil creature over the ages; some were corrupted by it and lost sight of their goal, while others were driven mad by its call. The Legacy has lived long and has seen much, it is a dark sage that can share its knowledge and power at the price of your soul.
It has been lost in the recent times, unseen. To any who find it or face someone who wields it, beware, it shall not consider any mortal an obstacle and will do what it must to continue with its given task of destruction.
